Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s story takes direct inspiration from real-life events, following several military outlets as they traverse the globe in order to stop a terrorist plot. You’ll experience this from the perspective of multiple characters, making specific choices and tactical decisions that adds a new layer of strategy to the series. This is the same brand of tight FPS action fans have come to know, only now you’ll be shooting and rushing your way through explosive set pieces like never before.
The fan-favourite zombies mode may not be present in this rendition of Call of Duty, but Modern Warfare does see a return of Spec Ops. It’s here where teams of two undertake bite-sized missions that recontextualise certain events from the main campaign. This combines with the incredibly popular PVP multiplayer portion, which allows players compete in a range of addictive game modes. More content is added on a seasonal basis, ensuring that the FPS action never needs to end.
